Question about fluorescent camera filters?
Hello everybody. My boyfriend just gave me a present consisting of whole bunch of different camera filters for my Nikon D7000. There are two that are FLD filters. One of them is a FLD filter, and another is a Day-FLD filter. The first is Magenta color, and the second is sort of brownish yellow. I know the first one I should use inside, with fluorescent lamps, but what about the other one — the brownish-yellow one. How does this particular filter works, where should I use it, why is it brownish color instead of some magenta shade? Are there other types of FLD filters?
I am not a professional photographer yet, and I am learning. However, there is not a lot information online about Fluorescent filters. If you know a web where I can read about these filters in detail, I would really appreciate you sharing the address.

An FLD filter is used when shooting with film under fluorescent light. Your D7000 has adjustable white balance which makes an FDL filter unnecessary.
