New prescription eyeglasses , having problems ? Is this normal ?
I got a new pair of prescription eyeglasses 2 days ago , everything seems magnified , when I walk down the street and look at the sidewalk it seems like the ground slopes away from me , or walking up and down curbs and steps is weird (I trip) .
Also looking out the sides/corners seems like everything is “bent” like appliances and doorways.
Is this normal should I give it a week or two . The prescription is good everything is CLEAR , my eyes do not hurt nor do I get headaches.
This is my first time wearing eyeglasses.

I’m googling to find the news item I saw last year about the insane amount of prescription eyeglasses that were made incorrectly. I did find a WebMD article, but I would like to find that article for you. This may take a bit, I’ll update when I find it…
BTW, I had never worn glasses before last year, and my first pair did take a little getting used to. I usually had to give my eyes “a rest” every few hours until I got used to seeing the world the way it was supposed to look like!
